Most Jon boats use rivets and more than half the boats on the water today are 15+ years or older. Over time rivets will loosen and allow water to enter the hull of the boat. Some leaks minor, others severe. We repair these leaks by tightening or replacing damaged and/or loose rivets in addition to applying a marine sealant. If the damage is too extensive welding might be required. Repair pricing varies on damage. See Hull Sealant for additional options.

Additional options to prolong leaks from occuring would be to coat the underside of the hull with a sealant like Steelflex, Glov it, or other epoxy based sealants. Though some of these sealants are very costly they provide long term protection against further water leaks. Generally most boats we paint are with an epoxy based battle ship grey though many options are available. For duck hunters and those wanting camouflage there are many different patterns to choose. Also base colors we will use implement paint to insure the strongest bond to keep your boat looking like new for years to come. Though there are many cheaper options. Sealant applications range from $75-$200. Paint applications range from $75-$200.
